Learn to Play Poker: Getting Started
You can get started right now! All it takes is four easy steps:
1) Download the free Live Poker software
Check the system requirements. Most computer systems will be able to run Live Poker software smoothly and without any problems. When you are ready, you can download the software by clicking on the appropriate link in the Download Section. Live Poker is one of the few online websites that provides a choice of platforms: you can download for either Windows or Mac platforms. Simply select the PC Client Version or the Mac Client Version. Download the file to your computer. When the file is downloaded to your system, you are ready to install it!
2) Install the free Live Poker software
Installation of Live Poker software is a snap! Double-click on the downloaded installation file. The install window will pop up:
Click "Next" and follow the on-screen instructions. When the installation is completed, you are ready to create your account!
3) Create your Live Poker account
Simply click on the "Live Poker" icon either on your desktop or through the Start Menu (click on Start, All Programs, Live Poker, and then Live Poker icon). Live Poker will start loading:
After the software loads, the login screen will be displayed:
Simply click on the "Create New Account" button and then fill out the registration information:
Click "Next" to continue once you filled out all four fields. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish creating your account.
4) Play Live Poker!
Once you created your account, playing poker is easy.
Load the Live Poker software as in the previous step. Enter your Login ID and Password into the Live Poker Login window and click "Login".
After you have successfully logged in, you may click "Help" for various keyboard controls and other interface commands that you can use to navigate in game windows. The "Incoming Alerts" window will inform you of any useful information or deposit bonuses offered by Live Poker.
