Fred Luchetti, General Manager
Fred Luchetti is General Manager of Live Poker (www.livepoker.com), a flourishing online poker community that has been engaging players with the thrill of realistic, fast-paced game play since April 2005.
As GM, Fred is involved with day-to-day management of staff as well as technical and customer support and marketing. He ensures a secure environment for an engaging player experience on both Mac and PC platforms.
Live Poker is wholly owned by Fun Games International N.V., headquartered and licensed in the Netherlands Antilles. Fred is also a consultant to Fun Games.
Fred has extensive experience in Internet marketing, strategy and Web site management. He has helped manage another online poker site and has been playing poker himself almost non-stop since his introduction to the online poker world in 1999.
Fred honed his business skills in strategy, marketing, budgeting, scheduling and time management in his early career as a successful international freelance photographer and cinematographer. Fred studied film while at York University in Toronto, Canada. At the early age of 24 he earned the credit of Feature Film Director of Photography for the 1985 movie The War Boy.
Born in Rome, Fred moved to Canada as a child and is a proud Canadian citizen. He and his wife have two children. A self-confessed armchair daredevil, Fred aspires to fly planes but for now contents himself with flying kites, when he has time.
